About Us

Developing a strong sense of belonging amongst pupils.

Haberdashers’ Abraham Darby is the central hub of our local community and families have attended here (previously Abraham Darby School) for many generations. It’s always been a wonderful place full of inspiring teachers and enthusiastic pupils.

In order to build on our community relationships, we work closely with our local primary schools. We’ve been able to offer a wide range of programmes and projects to enable students to experience secondary school life early on, thus building confidence for when the time comes to progress to Year 7.

We offer so much more than examination results and, with our focus on providing an outstanding all-round education, our pupils achieve excellent outcomes outside and inside the classroom.

Our Houses

Alumni

All of our students remain part of our Haberdashers Community and we recognise and value the contribution they can bring back to our current students. Our valued alumni volunteers support our students and by choosing to get involved in a range of activities, making a huge difference to their future prospects and our community.

There are many ways to get involved such as career talks, presentations, mentoring or offering to support work experience, as well as attending career fairs and open evenings for new students and parents.

Please contact the careers team at HADcareers@taw.org.uk Tel: 01952 389054.
