Therefore, as a subject religious studies is by nature an interdisciplinary field with direct relevance to the arts, humanities, sciences, and social sciences. Religious and ethical debates are widely prevalent in the modern world.

The course is examined with three exams (one for each component of the course).

Do I Need A Religious Studies GCSE?

Although this may seem advantageous no you do not need to have studied Religious Studies at GCSE, as the course is split into three components (Philosophy, Ethics and Buddhism).
