What will I study?

The UK is a world leader in the Creative industry and is still rapidly growing.
Every business needs people with an understanding of media to be successful in a modern world. On this course you will learn:

  • About the different sectors, products and job roles within the media industry
  • How to develop a brand and visual identity for a client
  • Where interactive products are used and how to select, edit and create types of media for these

The subject is comprised of three units. One exam, two coursework units.

  • R093 – Creative iMedia in the creative Industry
  • R094 – Visual identity and digital graphics
  • R097 – Interactive digital media

How Will I Earn Marks For My Final Grade?

This is a vocational subject so there are both exam and coursework units to undertake. Coursework units make up 60% of the course, while the exam taken at the end of the course in Year 11 is the remaining 40%.
