What will I study?
In psychology you will gain many desirable skills which will be beneficial when studying at university. These include data analysis, critical thinking, high level reasoning and resilience.
Psychology is a very broad subject, and although we do investigate mental health and crime, please be prepared to learn about multiple disciplines of psychology.
You will cover topics such as Psychological approaches and applications, Conducting psychological research, Health psychology, and Forensic and criminal psychology.

How Will I Be Assessed?
You will be assessed by two external exams (90 and 120 minutes) and two pieces of coursework.
What Is The Difference Between BTEC and A-Level?
BTEC is the vocational option with two coursework elements and two exams. Assessments will be carried out throughout the two years. A-Level follows an examination only route which will be assessed at the end of the two years.
