What will I study?

In psychology you will gain many desirable skills which will be beneficial when studying at university. These include data analysis, critical thinking, high level reasoning and resilience.

Psychology is a very broad subject, and although we do investigate mental health and crime, please be prepared to learn about multiple disciplines of psychology.

How Will I Be Assessed?

At A-level there are three exams, each one accounting for a third of your qualification. Each exam is two hours long and worth 96 marks.

What Is The Difference Between BTEC and A-Level?

BTEC is the vocational option with two coursework elements and two exams. Assessments will be carried out throughout the two years. A-Level follows an examination only route which will be assessed at the end of the two years.
