You will study science theory at a level equivalent to A level in Biology, Chemistry and Physics, Practical Scientific Procedures. Laboratory Techniques and their Application, Microbes and Human Physiology as well as Investigation Skills.
What will I study?
Applied Science BTEC is the equivalent of 1.5 A levels so has a big draw on UCAS points. It is a well-respected qualification that is accepted by many employers and Russel group universities.

How Will I Be Assessed?
BTEC is vocational course with 2 optional coursework elements. There are only two externally assessed units. A-Level follows an examination only route.
What GCSE Grades In Science Will I Need?
Ideally students will need good grades (5 or above) in English, Maths and Science although students also need to be well motivated, organised, and able to manage deadlines.
