As a parent there are a number of ways in which you may contact Haberdashers’ Abraham Darby.
The first opportunity is to contact your child’s mentor by using the space provided in their planner. This may be useful to let us know of medical appointments or other such events that are planned ahead. Of course, there may be times when you need to speak to someone. We would ask that you try to speak initially to your child’s mentor as they will have an overview of how your son/daughter is progressing.
Where there is the need to speak to a specific member of the teaching staff regarding a curriculum issue you will find all of the necessary contact details on the ‘teaching staff’ page under the contacts menu. Electronic communication is essential nowadays and we would welcome contact via email. To help you with this you simply need to click the teacher’s name to start a new email in your email programme. It is also important that you keep us informed if you change your email address along with other contact details such as mobile numbers – please email ad.academy@taw.org.uk with any changes remembering to include your child’s name in the email.
Each faculty’s telephone number is included in the list but if there is no answer, most likely because they are teaching at the time, you may of course telephone reception (01952 386000) or email the school (ad.academy@taw.org.uk)
If you receive a text advising that your child is absent you can either text a reply, explaining their absence, or telephone Miss Owen, Attendance/Pupil Data Officer, on (01952) 386013 or by email on HAD_Attendance@taw.org.uk
